This policy explains what personal information The Board collects, how it is used, and your rights in relation to it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Your email address — when you post a notice or request a management link. We use this to send you a one-time sign-in link and, if your notice is approaching expiry, a reminder email. We do not use your email for marketing.
Contact details you choose to publish — website, phone number, or public email. These are displayed on the board as part of your notice. Only publish what you're comfortable with the public seeing.
Notice content — the text and design of your notice is stored so it can be displayed on the board. It is publicly visible for the duration the notice is live.
IP address — recorded when a notice is reported, for abuse prevention only. Not used for tracking or analytics.
We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. We do not use third-party analytics services. We do not create user profiles or track behaviour across sessions.
Live notices are retained for up to 90 days from posting (or the last renewal). Expired and removed notices are retained for a further 30 days for moderation purposes, then deleted. Your email address is deleted with your notice data.
We use Resend to send transactional emails. Your email address is passed to Resend solely for this purpose. We use Supabase for database hosting and Cloudflare R2 for image storage. No data is sold or shared with any other party.
You can remove your notice at any time from the management page. To request deletion of your email address or any other data, contact us at hello@tomjs.org. We will respond within 30 days.
